今回の援農では畑での農作業ではなく、野菜直売所の店番を任せられました。お客様に野菜の紹介をしたり、会話したりするのは楽しくて好きです。野菜直売所は他にもあちこちあるのですが、わざわざこちらの直売所が好きで立ち寄ってくださるお客様が多いです。「ここのを食べたら他のが食べれない！」とよく言われます。ご自宅用に買われるお客様も多いですが、大量に買って、知人に配るというお客様や、宅急便で送りたいというお客様が多いです。いつもこのようなお言葉をいただくと、私自身もとてもうれしいですが、必ず農園オーナーさんにもお客様の声をお届けするようにしています。
I was selling vegetables today at the farm stand of the farmer I know of instead of working in the farm field. I enjoyed meeting with visiting customers and introducing fresh vegetables. There are many farm stands everywhere, but I met many visitors who have been fans of this farm stand. Thanks to their compliments, they say, “I love your vegetables. Once I tasted them, I could not go to other stores.” They get vegetables not only to eat at home but also to giveaway to their friends and neighbors. They even purchase some boxes of vegetables to send via parcel delivery service from the stand. I reported all these things and the good comments to the owner.
