私が以前通っていた料理教室のでは、先生が結婚アドバイザーもなさっていて、料理婚活も開催していました。20代から50代くらいまでの男女が20人くらい集まり、私は先生のアシスタントとして参加者に料理の指導を行いました。メニューは料理教室で習った内容を料理婚活の中で再現するので、難しいことはありませんでした。参加者には、出来上がった食事を楽しく召し上がっていただき、最後に、気に入った相手の番号を書いていただきました。私は紙を回収して、裏の部屋で番号のマッチしているものを探し、カップルの発表を行いました。このようなパーティーを通して、男女の新しいカップルが誕生することは、とても喜ばしいことだなと思いました。長く続けたかったボランティアでしたが、引越しを機に教室自体をやめることになり、このお手伝いもやめることとなりました。
When I was taking a cooking class, the teacher owned the marriage business as well. She opened her kitchen for marriage hunting cooking parties. About twenty ladies and gents from twenties to fifties gathered each time, and I gave cooking instructions to them as an assistant teacher. It was easy teaching them as I had already learned how to cook them in the past cooking class. Participants enjoy eating and chatting. At the end of the party, I gave away cards to write the number(s) they liked. I would collect them and checked matching numbers. Finally, I announced the couples to everyone. I found it wonderful that people met their future partners and started going out through such parties. I loved volunteering this role and wanted to continue, but I had to leave the cooking class and the volunteer role as I moved.
