今シーズンもまたスキー学校のお手伝いにやってきました。私が担当したのは中学1年生男女10名で、子どもたちのカラーは学校によって雰囲気が様々です。今回の子どもたちは、とてもピュアな印象があり、講師の私が指導することをまじめに聞いてくれました。平らな斜面を何度か練習したので、平らな斜面であれば自信をもってスピードも出してすいすい滑れるようになりました。少しレベルアップのため、中級斜面を練習しようとすると、急に怖くなってしまい、バタバタと倒れてしまいましたが、少しずつ自信をつけて転ばずに滑れるようになりました。
I came to a ski resort where I am always helping to teach how to ski every year. This time my students were ten boys and girls of seventh grade. They had pure hearts. They had listened to me very carefully. The students’ characters or behaviors always vary depending on the school. We practiced skiing on flatter areas or beginner courses many times first. They had gotten enough confidence skiing there with good high speed. To improve better, I later took them to middle-level slopes. They felt scared and fell down many times. As we had practiced, they had got confidence and were able to ski without falling.
