女子ソフトボールの撮影ボランティア。この仕事はとても楽しかったです。いつも英語ボランティアの仕事を積極的に申し込むのですが、この大会では最初から英語の仕事はないとわかっていました。そこで私は撮影の仕事を選びました。選手の間近に行けると思ったからです。大正解でした。広報担当者しか入れないエリアに入ることができました。そこは、2つのエリアに別れていて、撮影するための特別席のエリアと、コーヒー、紅茶、お菓子のある休憩室がありました。仕事内容も楽しかったのですが、なにより、メンバーに恵まれました。とても協力的で積極的なメンバーで、私が撮影で移動するときに私をエスコートするかのように同行してくれました。休憩時間も情報交換をしたり、楽しく過ごしました。また機会があればチャレンジしたいです。
Softball shooting volunteer was one of the most fun roles I had enjoyed. I usually apply for an English language support position, but I knew there was no such position for the event. So, I had selected the shooting role as I was expecting I could get closer to the players. I was correct. I entered the restricted area for PR persons only, which consisted of two connected areas: a shooting area with box seats and a rest area with coffee, tea, and snacks. I enjoyed the role but also thankful that I worked with a good team. The members were cooperative and proactive. When I went shooting, one of the guys walked with me and escorted me the way. I enjoyed rest time chatting and exchanging information. If I had another opportunity, I would like to try it again.
