以前は料理教室やお菓子教室、パン教室によく通っていたものですが、引越しを機に、収入と支出のバランスを見直さなければいけなくなり、月謝制の定期的に参加している教室も、単発で申し込んで参加する教室も、あれこれをやめました。新しい場所では、ご縁あって、またもや料理にかかわるボランティアに参加できることになりました。ボランティアなので、受講料のような支払いはありませんが、まるで料理教室のように学ぶことは多いです。交通費の自己負担と、人力と時間の提供によって、誰かのお役に立てて、しかも自分自身にも勉強になっていることは本当にありがたいことです。そして何より、新しい仲間がたくさんできました。うれしいことです。ボランティアは、私のような者でもチャレンジできます。今後もブログの中で紹介していきます！
I used to take a cooking class, a cake baking class, and a bread baking class for many years. After moving, I figured that I had to rebalance my incomes and expenses. I quit all these classes. I have also stopped attending one-time lessons. In the new place where I started to live, I again had new opportunities as a cooking volunteer. There are no tuition fees, of course. Yet, I learn so many things, and I feel like I am taking cooking lessons. I need to spend transportation from my pocket. I contribute my time and labor, which would help others. I am thankful for these things. And I am happy that I made new friends. You can also give it a try. I am going to introduce my volunteer work in my blogs.
