今回は新鮮野菜の袋詰め作業をやりました。パクチーは、新鮮な部分だけを選んで袋詰めするので、枯れていたり、変色した部分は取り除いてから計量して、袋に入れる時は、注意しながら丁寧に入れました。そのあとカーボロネロとケールも計量して袋詰めしました。袋詰めが終わると大根と人参の畑の雑草取りと、肥料をまいたり、その後は別の場所に移動してケール畑の雑草取りをしました。この日は、ほかにも複数名のボランティアさんが来ていて別の作業に入っていました。学生さんや一般の方がいらしてました。お昼休憩の後、またそれぞれの活動場所に移動して作業の続きを行いました。
I helped pack vegetables this time. When packing corianders, I had to pack only fresh, clean ones so that I had removed unfresh withered leaves, scaled, and carefully put them in plastic bags. I also packed black kales and curly kales. After that, I helped pull weeds and fertilized Daikon radish and carrots fields. After that, I moved to the kale field and pulled weeds again. On this day, several volunteers, including students and adults, were helping in different places doing different things. After lunch, everyone moved back to the fields and continued farming work.
