もう十数年以上スキーを教えているベテラン講師です。ベテランといっても、初心者に教えるのが得意なだけで、自分自身のスキー技術といったら、全然まだまだ発展しないといけない状況です。どうしてボランティアでスキーを教えているかというと、本来は給料をいただけるお仕事なのですが、私のこれまで本職で働いてきた企業では、副業を歓迎していない会社がいくつかありました。現在は、また別の企業で働いていますが、スキーの仕事はボランティアのままで、お仕事をさせていただいてます。これまで続けてこられたのは、私を受け入れてくださったスクール代表者やスタッフと良い関係が続けられたこと、スキーをさせていただいている楽しさ、喜び、そして日常のストレスの発散となって、心身ともに健康が保てたからだと思います。
I am an expert in teaching how to ski downhill. I have been teaching beginners for more than ten years. Yet, I must improve my ski techniques even better. Why am I teaching ski as a volunteer, although it is a paid position? Several companies I belonged to in the past did not welcome their employees to have side businesses. I am working in a different company now, but I chose to work as a volunteer. What makes me continue this role? I have built positive relationships with the representative of the ski school and the staff. I enjoy the fun and exciting part of skiing. All the stress is free. As a result, I keep myself healthy physically and mentally. All these things made me continue working.
